If an AI robot could be moulded into the ideal lover.
Would you be willing to develop a soul mate with him/her?
Recently, it was reported by BI (Business Insider) news that
Sales of Hamony, the world's first AI sex robot, have surged since the New Crown epidemic!
According to her founder Matt McMullen, Hamony has exquisite features, a perfect physique and the incorporation of AI technology that allows it to easily capture human voices and expressions and respond intelligently, making it the perfect choice for companionship for lonely humans.
Despite the high price tag of $12,000 (approximately Rs. 103,500), sales continued to see an increase during the epidemic.
However, the rapid expansion of the AI sex robot market has also raised alarm among concerned experts, who say the government needs to get involved and implement comprehensive regulation.
AI sex machines are becoming closer to humans
Japan launched a "wife" AI robot, with a realistic appearance, normal body temperature and simple communication, priced at 100,000, with tens of thousands sold out.
AT&T Labs in the United States launched the robot Roxy, can chat, can listen, and also spirited, wild, shy, aloof a variety of personalities to choose from.
Harmony is understood to have the physique and functionality of similar robots, in addition to a smarter AI brain.
It incorporates Amazon's Alexa voice system, which is able to give accurate feedback to voices and chat about all kinds of topics.
At the same time, it comes with an intelligent software system that allows it to store and memorise past chats and understand its partner's habits and preferences, such as what food they like and what movies they love to watch.
It is conceivable that after a long period of companionship has been accumulated, perhaps the robot may know more about its partner than a human being!
Surge under the epidemic, increased demand for companionship
Hamony's market sales increased by at least 50% during the New Crown epidemic. He explains this surge as an increase in demand for companionship under the epidemic.
"If in the past users were just thinking about it, they are now becoming more open to the fact that the self-imposed isolation during the epidemic has multiplied their feelings of loneliness and ultimately made the choice".
It's not hard to understand how this phenomenon has emerged; as socialising becomes increasingly stressful and loneliness becomes an unresolved emotion, AI sexbots are a natural best option.
They can listen, they can respond, they won't reject or lose their temper, and they can customise their personality, body shape and appearance to meet their own external needs for the ideal lover.
And the biggest selling point of the AI version of the doll is that it can interact in real time and pulse between the lines.
All sorts of deep conversations and flirting routines catch perfectly!
Not only that, but as AI-powered robots get smarter, one sexbot developer, Sergi Santos, admits that he is thinking of having a child with his robot partner, Samantha.
At the same time, he says: "Marriage between humans and robots will be very common in the future".
Will we really develop feelings for machines?
But for most humans, AI sex robots are still only a companionship tool, not a replacement for the need for intimacy between humans.
But for future intelligent robots with sexual functions, this is not necessarily the case.
Imagine if you bought a robot that was so realistic that there was no discernible difference in sensuality between it and a real person, so realistic that you could barely feel that it was an inanimate machine, how would you feel about it, and would you still see it as a mere erotic toy?
Imagine if you bought a robot that mimicked human emotions and had personality traits that you could set for yourself, avoiding all the problems you'd have with a real person, such as temper tantrums, straight man/woman cancer, commitment phobia, etc.
So will you develop some real emotional attachment to this robot?
As the famous sociologist and sexologist Li Yinhe puts it.
"In the future, sex and love will be more separate, and sex robots will be as common as televisions."
Nowadays tpe sex dolls and silicone dolls can already be said to be very common, they come in all types and styles, whether you want big breast sex dolls, anime sex dolls, big ass sex dolls, mini sex dolls or curvy sex dolls with a good body or young and energetic young sex dolls, they are all available in the market now and I am sure that in the future people will want more and more
